We manage South Australia’s petroleum, natural hydrogen, carbon capture storage and geothermal energy resources, facilitating sustainable exploration, development and production that is part of the transformation economy.
Energy and Technical Regulation
We ensure South Australia has access to secure, reliable, sustainable, competitive and cost-effective electricity and gas products and services, as well as stable and trusted regulation that drives the transformation of business and industry and supports community prosperity.

MinEx CRC (Mineral Exploration Cooperative Research Centre) is a consortium of Industry, Government and Research Organisations that combine to form the world’s largest mineral exploration research collaboration.
Now in its fifth year of research, MinEx CRC is focused on a new set of exploration tools and new ways to deploy those tools that recognise the fundamental importance of collecting quantity and quality data from the subsurface.
